Can I be my own registered agent in Alabama?

Yes, if you have a physical Alabama street address and are there during business hours. The trade-offs: your name and address go on the public record, and if your company is sued, the process server comes to that address — sometimes in front of staff or customers.

Can I use a PO box as my Alabama registered agent address?

Does an Alabama LLC file an annual report?
