Do you have a physical address?
Yes, we have a physical address in each state in which we operate.
Do you forward Federal documents (like IRS notices)?
We will forward documents from any Federal agency as well as from state agencies in which you are registered with us. However, most customers choose to provide their business address to Federal governments.
When creating a new company, what address do I use?
You should list your address for everything except the registered agent, and list our address in the registered agent area of your formation documents. Obviously, that address will vary from state to state and is available in the member dashboard.
What is your registered agent fee?
$100 per company per year or $10 per company per month.
Are there extra fees?
No, unless you want us to mail or overnight some documents to you, in which case you have to pay for the cost of the mail or overnight service.
Will the fee go up next year?
We have not raised our fees in the last seven years. All companies with a subscription will be protected against a rate increase.
Do I need to register with you prior to filing with the Secretary of State?
Yes, you should register with us first so we have you in your system and you can honestly tell the Secretary of State that you have our consent to act as your registered agent.
What if my name isn't approved by the Texas Secretary of State?
No problem. Just log into our dashboard and change your company name. There's no fee associated with changing your company name in our system.
What if I'm doing business under an assumed name?
You should list your company name as the registered company. Then, you can go into your company information (in the dashboard) and put the DBA into the area with the state information.
Will I be notified about renewals?
The email address used to setup the account will receive all billing notifications which includes a notice 30 days before renewal is due, receipts, etc.
